Let’s meet our Broker Account Manager, Kristina Pfau who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2021.  Kristina is responsible for curating and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers who would benefit from utilizing Bridge Loan Network’s suite of software offerings.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  Going for a 2-mile run with my puppy!

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A:  Coffee!

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A:  Someone suggested I apply for the Broker Account Manager position and clearly, they were right!

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A: I’m definitely proud of myself in regards to how much I’ve learned and accomplished for only being in the real estate world for a little over a year now.

A: Six Flags New England

A: Early Bird

A: Teleporting

A: I wanted to be a dance teacher

Meet the Team “Virtually”: Erica Sikoski

Let’s meet our Marketing Manager, Erica Sikoski who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2018.  Erica is responsible for maintaining and evolving the presence of Bridge Loan Network in our respective field through our various marketing channels.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  Strong cup of coffee, and then letting my dog out to run around for a bit.

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A: I make lists. Lists of daily tasks, weekly tasks and long-standing projects. I love the feeling of crossing something off when it’s finally done.

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A: I actually started with Bridge Loan Network’s lending partner, RCN Capital, and then moved over to this awesome team to help ramp up their marketing and tradeshow efforts.

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A: My top accomplishment has been seeing how far our little tech team has come since I joined Bridge Loan Network, and how we’re becoming more well known in the industry.

Q:  What was your first job?

A: I worked as a summer custodian at an elementary school when I was 15

Q:  Are you an early bird, or night owl?

A: Night owl, all the way. I am not a morning person in any sense of the word.

Q:  If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

A: Teleport, so I could go anywhere in the world without having to spend time on a plane or car. I love to travel and this way I’d get more time in the locations versus airports.

Q:  If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

A: Apple music, maps and camera

A: The laughing face, cause I am so funny.

Q:  When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: I wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was little. But then I learned it’s not all about just playing with the animals. So, instead two of my best friends are Vet Techs, that’s close enough.

Meet the Team “Virtually”: Gabriel Bowen

Let’s meet our Project Manager and IT Support Specialist, Gabriel Bowen who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2019.  Gabriel is responsible for supporting Bridge Loan Network (BLN) users with all of their software needs. This includes the BridgeLoanNetwork.com, the BLN WordPress Plugin, white label sites, and various APIs.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  With exercise

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A: Make a list and add then the to-do items to my calendar

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A: Started as just Bridge Loan Network Support and QA testing back in 2019 when they were looking for additional support

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A: I’ve simplified the Bridge Loan Network white label subdomain process to make the process faster for our clients

Q:  What was your first job?

A: I had a paper route job for the Journal Inquirer

A: Night owl

Q:  If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

A: Telekinesis

A: I wanted to be a chef

Meet the Team “Virtually”: Matt Volz

Let’s meet our Senior Operations Specialist, Matt Volz who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2017.  Matt’s mission is to create a dynamic user experience that both simplifies and expedites the client’s workflow. His experience in both business and customer relations is a great asset to our team.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  I start my day by taking my dog for a walk around the block. When I get back, I have a nice hearty breakfast. Finally, I take a shower and dress to impress!

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A:  Each morning, I set a list of 5 goals I would like to complete by the end of the day. Whenever I have spare time during the workday, these are the projects that I fall back on.

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A:  A few years ago, the owner of the company reached out to me directly to start doing some side projects. Once they were complete, he wanted to bring me on in a Business Development role. I have been a Bridge Loan Network man every since.

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A:  When I started with Bridge Loan Network, there were only three members of our team and we were in the startup phase. This year (2020) alone, we have added four new employees and over 100 clients. Being apart of this growth has been my greatest accomplishment of my career so far.

Q:  What was your first job?

A:  I graduated with an Accounting Degree from UConn and started at a Big 4 firm soon after college. I quickly realized that the accounting industry was not for me and that is when I made the switch to Bridge Loan Network.

Q:  Are you an early bird, or night owl?

A:  I am definitely a night owl.

Q:  If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

A:  I would love to be able to fly.

Q:  If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

A:  Spotify for my music, The Weather Channel since I spend all of my spare time outside, and the MLB app as I am a huge baseball fan.

A:  Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band. To this day it is my favorite song.

A:  The money bag.

Q:  When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A:  I wanted to play First Base for the New York Yankees. Sadly, I had to settle for First Base at Slow Pitch Softball.

Let’s meet our Broker Account Manager, Jordan Wells who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2020.  Jordan is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with brokers who utilize Bridge Loan Network’s suite of software offerings.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  I’d prefer to start my day peacefully, but it usually starts with my dog licking my face uncontrollably.

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A: Writing down all my tasks in my notepad and crossing them off as I complete them. There’s something oddly satisfying about crossing tasks off once they’re finished.

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A: For almost six years I worked at an event ticketing company that struggled once the pandemic hit and I lost my job. I applied and interviewed for a job at Bridge Loan Network and the rest was history!

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A: My top accomplishment is hearing from brokers that use our software how much they appreciate the training and support that is provided to them by the Bridge Loan Network team.

A:  Ability to fly.

Meet the Team “Virtually”: Pamela Blakes

Let’s meet our Broker Account Manager, Pamela Blakes who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2020.  Pamela specializes in building and maintaining broker relationships, and providing education and support for Bridge Loan Network’s software platform. She loves gathering interesting tidbits about her clients, or a life lesson they have learned. She will be happy to add yours to her book of “Information I Could Learn from or Use to Help Someone Else”.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  I really like to just grab my coffee and get my day started, except weekends, haha.

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A:  Honestly I just make sure I stay organized, and check things off the list as I go.

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A:  They found my resume online.

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A:  My client relations. Creating a bond and being able to take that relationship and create great business together while relying on one another. Creates great success for both parties involved.

A:  I worked in a hair salon.

A:  Early bird, all the way!

A: Hmmmm, Let me think about that. I may be better as a Care bear. Power would be JOY!

Meet the Team “Virtually”: Jacob Therrien

Let’s meet our Business Development Specialist, Jacob Therrien who joined our Bridge Loan Network team in 2018.  Jacob works closely with brokers and correspondent lenders in the commercial real estate space to educate them on best practices and how to strive for success.  Jacob was awarded the Rising Star award from the American Association of Private Lender’s (AAPL) in 2019.

Q:  How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  A cup of strong coffee while I watch the sun rise.

Q:  What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A: If I feel my productivity going down, I always make a list of priorities, so I know the important things get done before anything else.

Q:  How did you start working for Bridge Loan Network?

A:  I was lucky enough to stumble across BLN during my post grad job search. I interviewed and immediately fell in love with the team, the culture, and the plethora of opportunity that it presented.

Q:  What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

A:  I am super proud of how well our team has come together to grow our business to a known player in the Investment Real Estate space. But my proudest personal accomplishment is winning the 2019 AAPL Rising Star Award.

Q:  What was your first job?

A:  My first ever “job” was working for a neighbor doing landscaping when I was 13. 10 dollars an hour, paid in cold hard cash!

Q:  Are you an early bird, or night owl?

A:  Money doesn’t sleep, neither do I. I am 100% all the time.

Q:  If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

A:  I would love to read minds… In order to make more sales…

A:  Maps, Music, Banking App.

A:  Crying laughing facing is ALWAYS the best emoji for any situation!

Q:  When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A:  I always wanted to be an Aviation Pilot, but a diagnosis of chronic migraine syndrome shot down those dreams fairly quickly. So inevitably, software sales was the next best option!
